Women-Led Plantation
House of Parwati is an initiative of T&M Sah Foundation, born from a truth these mountains have always known — that rural women and native forests are inseparable.
For generations, women in Uttarakhand have collected firewood, water, and fodder from these forests. They know every tree, every spring, every slope. Yet they remain invisible in conservation policy. We are here to change that.
13 indigenous Himalayan species, each chosen for ecological purpose.
Local women lead every plantation — as planters, nursery managers, champions.
Deep, place-based work in the ecosystem that feeds rivers across North India.
GPS-tagged sites, photo documentation, and annual progress reports.
Every tree belongs here. Every species was chosen because it heals, feeds, or shelters the Himalayan ecosystem.

At House of Parwati, we believe corporate responsibility is most powerful when it is rooted in real soil — tended by real women, in a real place that needs it.

Just trees in the ground, women earning a livelihood, and your company’s name attached to something that will outlive all of us.
It’s a powerful step toward giving these guardians of nature the voice and visibility they deserve.
